Tim Smith Wines Eden Valley Riesling 2018

It’s still summer, I guess, though living in Sydney often keeps you guessing. I dashed out a note for this the other week at a trade tasting called ‘Riesling Galaxy’ (I tend to prefer other Nebbia…), and re-tasting now just to check.

Kaffir lime leaf, a bit of spice, almost musky perfume. Intensity of flavour and acidity, dry and crunchy, heaps of sweet fresh lime and brown lime, tangy finish. A little chalkiness to texture but mainly driven by that juicy citrus acid line. Like this. Nice one Tim Smith.
