d’Arenberg The Hermit Crab Viognier Marsanne 2017

VM, or viognier marsanne for the uninitiated.

Soapy floral notes, green apple, touches of honeysuckle, a relatively pretty perfume. The palate is slippery, medium weight, shows quite simple in terms of flavour and texture, but offers a good hit of ripe stone fruit and light honeyed character as expected. A touch lush too. Good thing this.

Tasted : SEP18
Alcohol : 13.5%
Price : $15
Closure : Screwcap
