Wowique Chardonnay 2017

I came across this with my Halliday hat on but it seemed like the kind of thing that should be represented on Winefront too. I believe the name behind Wowique is Warwick Billings.

It’s 12.8% alcohol but it comes across as much richer than that. There’s a custardy, vanilla-like, nougat-accented aspect to this, which fits well with the run of stonefruit, cooked apple and mineral-edged flavour. It smells sweet, it tastes sophisticated, it finishes cutting and dry.
