Lindeman’s Pyrus 2016

Pyrus most often my favourite of the ‘Coonawarra Trio’. Something about the texture and flavour profile that’s more appealing. It’s the quiet ones you have to watch, and all that. And we know this from working with Campbell for quite some time…

Violet, black fruits, chocolate, dried herbs and vanilla oak. Medium-bodied, good spread of tannin and flavour, quite dense without being heavy, savoury tobacco and a nice chewy finish of good length. It’s a wine to get your teeth into. Fruit, perfume, savoury complexity, texture: all there.
