Domaine Raveneau Chablis Butteaux 1er Cru 2014

Butteaux and Boscaiola. That’s how this bottle went to its grave. Quite the combo really. All that creaminess on the plate given cut and freshness by the glass. A neat foil. Even better that it was in regional New South Wales in a small, country town that this went down; not a smidge of low fat in the pasta. Sublime, perhaps. For Chablis nerds, Butteaux is actually part of Montmains. Typically pretty fine and understated in its profile, it’s excelled in 2014, it feels.
