Yering Station Reserve Shiraz 2016

First release of a 100% shiraz under the Reserve name from Yering Station. It may well be a first release but the accompanying press release still managed to refer to it as an “iconic wine”. I’m not sure how you can be born iconic in a modern world but then, I’m not from that side of town. This shiraz is sourced from a single Yarra Valley vineyard at Coldstream. It spent two years in all French oak, one third new.
