Yalumba Steeple Vineyard Shiraz 2014

Single vineyard, Light Pass shiraz from vines planted in 1919. A refining of shiraz style is happening at Yalumba, at the premium end, says winemaker Kevin Glastonbury – slightly lighter and fresher is the gist. This is testimony to that, and the grenache wines, though of course not shiraz, have leaped into a new realm from similar winemaking attention.
