Wickhams Road Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2017

One of the great Australian wine bargains, and again finds quality in spades. Pre-release look at this wine (and saw it in various components in the winery), so stay tuned for offers, I assume. Clever mob at Wickhams/Hoddles Creek Estate. Also, some very good golf driving skills. The day I played at the estate vineyard driving range, the dark horse wasn’t a winemaker, but chef David Moyle of Franklin, Tasmania/Longsong, Melbourne fame. Hit a huge, clean one. Fore!
