Wickhams Road Gippsland Pinot Noir 2018

What a gift to Pinot Noir drinkers these Wickhams Road wines are.

Cherries, crushed exotic spices, a little earthy undergrowth. Medium-bodied, juiciness of fruit kept in check by fine grained and persistent tannin, pleasing precision, cool almost ‘minerally’ acidity, and gentle grip shaping up a pretty long finish. It’s really good, and likely better again with some time in bottle, though no problem enjoying it now. Verity and quality. I’d recommend this pretty highly.
