Warramunda Estate Pinot Noir 2016

Made with pinot noir clones MV6, 114 and 115, grown at Coldstream in the Yarra Valley. Sealed with a DIAM.

Beet, cherry, strawberry and plum flavours cruise straight into five-spice and pepper. It does fruitiness, it does savouriness, it does that pinot tang thing. There’s a firmness to the tannin, an associated tautness as a whole, and a seriousness to the way it holds itself through the palate. It’s good now; it should be better in a few years.
