Vignerons Schmölzer & Brown Obstgarten Riesling 2017

I see via the power of the internet that vignerons Schmolzer and Brown are currently on sabbatical in Austrian and German wine regions. Research and deep thinking are definitely their way, and their wines will be a benchmark for a new generation of fine wine producers, increasingly. Get in on the ground level stuff. This wine comes from a single site in the King Valley and holds an unfashionable but delicious 43 grams residual sugar. Obstgarten is an orchard, which is a pretty lovely way at looking at a vineyard, too.
