The Wanderer Upper Yarra Pinot Noir 2008

There are less than 100 cases of this Wanderer Pinot Noir so if you want some, you’ll need to get in quick. I had no hesitation in buying. It’s the baby of Andrew Marks, part of the ace winemaking duo behind Gembrook Hill.

Just to avoid confusion – The Wanderer made two Yarra Valley pinot noirs from 2008. This one from the Upper Yarra and a $35 version from a lower altitude vineyard. The $35 version will be reviewed before long – along with the 2008 shiraz.
