Must be tough for small winemakers to send their little babies out into the cruel world to fend for themselves..hoping that everyone (not least the media) will see and understand the future potential shining brightly within…. And really no one likes being told their children are ugly do they?  So what’s The Story morning glory…

Didn’t try the 05 but the 06 was very good+, the Westgate 06 excellent and am glad to have a couple of bottles of each stashed. As I understand it, all of the fruit for the single wine 07 was sourced entirely from Westgate’s vineyard, look forward to trying it.

Daryl, the fruit also comes from the Concongella vineyard, from what I hear (otherwise wouldn’t it have just been bottled as Westgate?!)

Yeah, I’ve since checked the website. Dunno what gave me that impression. I noted that the Concongella vineyard 08 material may end up as a single vineyard wine - sounds interesting.
