Terraviva ‘Ekwo Abruzzo Pecorino DOC 2016

“We vinify the wine based on soil character and clones on those soils, so the detail is very fine. Drinkability is key to the wines, however. We don’t overload the wines with oak or ripeness. The vineyards were set up without any chemicals, and have been grown and harvested that way ever since”, says the vigneron of Terraviva, Abruzzo – seaside vineyards in a beautiful location. This is pecorino, grown at low yields. Raised in stainless steel, left on lees for its life, bottled. Impressive wine.
