Tarras Vineyards The Steppes Pinot Noir 2008

I know a bloke who recently had his bucks party in Mongolia, on the Steppes. I kicked mine off at the The Löwenbräu Keller at The Rocks, Sydney. Clearly I needed to find a better quality best man.. Anyway, this was my favourite wine of the Tarras Trio. It has the richness and seduction that Central Otago is so good at delivering. It even solicited an unprovoked exclamation of approval from my wife. Curiously there was a sticker on the back label listing 14% alcohol, that when peeled away, showed 13% printed on the back label proper.
