Steels Gate Pinot Noir Rose 2011

For whatever reason, I’ve taken to enjoying a glass of Rose with pork spare ribs.

The washed out sort of orange colour (or eye of the partridge, as they say) sets the scene. Roses, strawberries and cherries – light with soft acidity and gentle creaminess. It’s a textural style with good flavour, interest and refinement. Smooth. Beautifully made with everything just so. Love it.
