A blend of grenache (50%), 20% syrah and nebbiolo and 10% mourvedre. “I couldn’t nail grenache as a single variety, I felt”, says winemaker Dan Graham, with humility, “so I played around with blends to tighten it up, add complexity”. He’s hit a high note. Rests in old oak puncheons for its time before bottling.
