This 1993 Seppelt Great Western Shiraz was tasted at the winery in October 2008, thanks to winemaker Jo Marsh.
Has a lot of delicacy and a lot of drinkability. Balanced, fresh, leathery and alive, with earthiness and leatheriness galore. Just a beautiful, light-footed, savoury old wine, in perfect drinking shape – if you like old wine. Sixteen years young, with no sense of heaviness at all. Winemaker of the time Ian McKenzie, and the vineyard, should feel justifiably proud.Closure : Cork
