Rosily Vineyard The Cartographer 2014

Tasted alongside the 2013, which must mean I’m falling a little behind at present.

A bit of lemon zest over red and black fruits, some black olive with it, old cedar wood and gum leaf. Medium-bodied, and seems to be carrying a bit of CO2 spritz?, a juiciness to the fruit, interplay of fruit and savoury stuff is attractive, some zing and sticky tannin on the finish. Doesn’t feel quite resolved at the moment. Let’s see.
