Quiet Mutiny Charlotte’s Elusion Riesling 2018

Dry riesling from Tasmania’s Derwent Valley.

It boasts richness and texture but its lines remain straight and long. Indeed given the wine’s line and length it’s remarkable how soft and effortless the wine seems. This softness give the wine a sense of understatement, or perhaps unforced is a more apt word, because the intensity or quality of flavour is not understated. We’re in very good territory here. Quiet Mutiny, a new name on me, is certainly one to watch out for. This is a confident release.
