Prince Albert Pinot Noir 2014

Vineyard planted in 1975, organic since 1988. These wines are of a particular style, and distinctive in that sense, which is invariably a good thing.

Dark cherry and plum, some spice, mint, and a distinctive earthy/beetroot/rhubarb thing going on. It’s leaning towards fuller bodied, but has balance and charm, fleshy fine grained emery tannin, even acidity, and a subtle amaro twang on a long finish. A great deal of personality, and a lovely thing to drink.
