Paolo Bea Sagrantino di Montefalco Cerrete 2007

Well there’s 3,933 bottles produced (or 327 cases) and 48 units imported. I have two units, and now only one. The demand for this wine easily outstrips supply. My eldest, Charles, was born in 2007. I hope to drink this with him in ten, or fifteen years time. Perhaps twenty. Anyway, this is hand picked, then left on skins for 45 days. Natural ferment. No additions. 12 months in stainless steel, then 45 months in large format Slavonian oak. No sulphur added. Importer: Addley Clark
