Ochota Barrels From The North Mourvedre 2017

Love to listen to music when I taste wine, and often very loud. When MB and I taste we like the 10 hour version of ‘Gandalf Nod’ to get us in the mood. At present though, I’m listening to The Libertines ‘Anthems For Doomed Youth’, and in particular ‘Gunga Din’ over and over and over again. VERY LOUD. Just a bit of local colour, anyway. This wine from Mataro planted in 1869. 100% whole bunch. I see a TA of 4.9 (on the spec sheets), and I think, ‘stuff you drongo winemakers who want a TA of 7.6 in red wines…’ Onwards.
