Oakridge Local Vineyard Series Hazeldene Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

Once upon a time, when winemaker Dave Bicknell was clean shaven, his pinot noirs weren’t much chop. Now that he has a sizeable bushy beard, his pinot noirs are excellent. Co-incidence? I think not. This is pinot noir from the upper Yarra Valley. We’ve seen Coldstream Hills produce (named) single vineyard pinot noir from this vineyard in the past. Here Oakridge takes a crack.
