Murdoch Hill Syrah 2015

murdoch-hill-syrahThis might have been called Cronberry Syrah in past. Anyways, what a pearler. Stormed out of a blind line-up tasting. Such good things happening/being worked for at Murdoch Hill.

Spicy, peppery, savoury character. Red fruits, touch of game meat and charcuterie whiffs. Like this perfume a lot. So pretty, so inviting. The palate is sublime. Slinky, silky, satiny, soft. Superb carriage of flavour on just medium weight feel. Length, elegance, understatement and purity are the words. A red fruited, peppery, sweet spiced pulse of shiraz that makes you want to reach back for your glass over and over. Such good drinking. Bottles will evaporate.
