Montalto Estate Pinot Noir 2010

Montalto command 30 acres of vines on their home estate but source fruit from vineyards they manage around the Mornington Peninsula to bolster the range. Winemaker Simon Black joined in 2009 with a short lead time to harvest, so this 2010 wine is one of the collection of first wines at Montalto he has seen from go to whoa. This wine is sourced from a north-facing part of the estate vineyard.
