Margan White Label Shiraz Mourvedre 2007

I went to see Billy Bragg in concert at the Enmore Theatre a few years ago and he was playing quite a few (too many) Woody Guthrie covers rather than concentrating on his classic material - which is really why we were all there. Anyway, he announced “Here’s another Woody Guthrie number for you” and in the very slight pause before starting some wit in the audience shouted out “Oh great!” in the most sarcastic of tones. Brought the house down it did, the timing impeccable. What’s the segue you ask? Well I’ve got a fair pile of Hunter reds to start on…of which some of you might think…”Oh great!”.
