Margan White Label Barbera 2010

I have liked Margan’s barbera in the past, and also seen a few near misses. It’s a great variety for the warm Hunter Valley and Andrew Margan himself is a winemaker who has wine I often enjoy – accessible, vital, pleasing. I reckon he is onto something with the variety, but 2010 may have been a tough year for the Margan barbera vineyard.
