Marchand & Burch Margaret River Shiraz 2009

Tasted quickly before I left the office but I liked what I saw. A lot.

A little rosy perfume and equally pretty vanilla scented cooperage along with dark cherry and plum fruit. Medium weight with firm but fair tannic impact – its composure and composition just so. Spice and slightly gamey savoury flavours work as a positive. An accomplished wine, with that little bit of X-factor that M&B Shiraz manages to erm…factor in. Much love. XXXXX
