Lyons Will Riesling 2017

Lyons Will was established in Macedon Ranges in 1996 but it wasn’t until recently that things escalated. Indeed, if you do the recent back story you get an arsenal of support in winemakers lending a hand – Matt Harrop (Silent Way), Llew Knight (Granite Hills) and Sean Crinion (Dappled) are names that oscillate here. This riesling is a step up, picked fresh then left to mature in old barrels. It’s a striking wine. A producer to keep an eye on for sure. Imagine this label in a riesling bottle, as no bottle shot available.
