Lindeman’s St George Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Has a good amount of corporate stuff on the label including ‘Low-yield vines’ and ‘Limited release’.

It’s rich and a bit rugged, packed with cassis and blackberry, five spice, oyster, and toasty vanilla custard oak. Full bodied, perhaps made somewhat diffuse by alcohol, but certainly has grip of mouth-coating grainy tannin, toast and tobacco, plenty of oomph and decent length. More impact and oomph than finesse, but pretty good all the same.
