Le Vigne de Eli Etna Rosso Moganazzi Volta Sciara 2013

From a single village set at 650 metres above sea level. A splash of nerello capuccio with the mainstay nerello mascalese, all planted in 1950. This producer was on my radar some five years ago, then slipped away, now back. Great expressions of the northern slope of the volcano. Very transparent expressions too.
