Larmandier Grand Cru Extra-Brut Vieille Vigne de Cramant 2007

This wine comes from two tiny plots of vineyard with wines in the vicinity of 50 to 70 years old all within the parish of Cramant. The wine is naturally fermented, sees time in unique Stockinger casks, some parcels in barrel, is left on lees for around a year, bottled with no filtering or fining and low sulphur. Chardonnay wine. When I tasted this wine I thought ‘courageous!’.
