La Violetta La Ciornia Shiraz 2013

This wine used to be produced from fruit from Kalgan River vineyard but is now taken from something called Franck vineyard about 20 kilometres away. One thing that has struck me about visiting Great Southern is distances between vineyards/wineries. Immense, it feels at times. Discovery. It’s naturally fermented, sees some time in new oak, but mostly used wood. Seeking spice.
