Kalleske Merchant Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

I liked the 2012, only reviewed it a couple of months ago, and I think this may well be just as good.

This is a deep and concentrated wine that really delivers a knockout punch at the price. Rich blackcurrant, dark chocolate, floral top notes, aniseed and cedar oak. Medium to full bodied, thick and densely fruited with tannin packed in deep and acidity sitting comfortably within. Essence-like blackcurrant and dark chocolate flavours seasoned with tobacco oak. Dry finish of very good length and impact. Looking very convincing.
