Joseph Perrier Cuvee Royale Brut NV

This could be exclusive to Dan Murphy stores – I’m not 100% sure. The label says – amusingly – that it’s made with a blend of “35% chardonnay, 35% pinot noir and 35% pinot meunier”. Which means either a) you really do get a lot for your money, or b) you can’t believe anything the French say about their wines.

Though the label really does say that.
