Irvine Primitivo Noir 2017

So much change in the wine landscape of Australia in the past few years. Who’d a thunk that orange-skin contact white wines would be making landfall in commercial-big company wineries and now stalwart, pet nats would be making ground on conventional sparkling wine in inner city bolt-holes, Coonawarra would be doing vin de soif, joven styles, and now hall-of-famer merlot producer Irvine doing a similar thing with primitivo (zinfandel). And that’s just tip of iceberg stuff. Fun wine here.
