Eldridge Estate Gamay 2017

Before I hook into a fair pile of Booj, thought I’d do a few local offerings, for local people. Big Dave does fine work with the Gamay grape.

A little white pepper and spice here, and perhaps a more nervy and lighter iteration of this wine. Red fruits including cherry, bright and energetic – vivacity and drinking appeal over depth and concentration – light dusty almost peppery tannin, and a bright and sappy finish of fine length. In short, very tasty.
