Domaine François Bertheau Chambolle Musigny 2016

The problem with a lot of Burgundy, is that they flog great fruit with oak. It’s not a problem here, the fruit shines brightly. Importer: Heart & Soil

Raspberry, exotic spice, a pleasant damp earth character, perfumed and fruit-driven. Light to medium-bodied, freshness and vigour, gentle grainy tannin, finely etched, and a bright red fruited finish of excellent length. So crunchy and tasty. For a village level wine, this is terrific. Beautifully made.
