Cherry Tree Hill Hayden Reserve Pinot Noir 2015

The Lorentz family established Cherry Tree Hill in 2000 in the verdant, undulating hills and dales of New South Wales’ Southern Highlands wine region. Betwixt the Range Rover Sports, raffia basket picnic baskets and linen pants, there’s some dedicated grower-producers making a range of interesting wines. Perhaps a little unsung, if anything. Pinot noir was a more recent addition to this vineyard (grafted onto merlot and cabernet sauvignon), and this is the first release of this wine. If you’re visiting the region, this and the Cherry Tree Hill riesling are good places to start your wine adventure.
