Charlotte Dalton Wines Love Me Love You Shiraz 2015

Debut wine(s) from Charlotte Hardy, wandering winemaker person, who has now set roots down in ‘that hot spot’ of Basket Range, Adelaide Hills. The fruit is sourced from The Deanery Vineyard. Gently, gently from paddock to bottle. Get in early on this gear; already getting pretty decent airplay in a variety of hot joints around the country.

Fragrant, glossy, gently sweet shiraz. It’s highly perfumed in maraschino cherry, raspberry compote, white pepper, green olive. In the palate, sleek, slick, medium weight red with feathery tannins and brisk acid profile. It’s easy to drink, actually, super easy to drink, and gives off pitch-perfect cool climate shiraz vibes. Drags long through the palate and finishes with anise spice and pickled cherry fruitiness. Hey! Delicious!
