Brave New Wine Sunshine & Hercules 2016

bnwrieslingBrave indeed when you’re sitting around a round table pour and chat with a diversity of local wine community. From those purporting riesling needs to be clean juice, aromatic yeast fermented, stainless steel to show its best, to those, well, those like Andries and Yoko at Brave New Wine, who find another set of angles. All counts, all relevant, all fair and good. This just another vibe in the theremin.

Mount Barker fruit, hand picked, couple of hours on skins, cloudy juice fermented in ceramic and old puncheon, spending eight months on lees. Hand bottled with no fining or filtration.
