Bindi Block 5 Pinot Noir 2016

Not often talked about, but Bindi has around double the land under eucalypts for high grade furniture than it does wine. Well there you go. Artisan pursuits with wood and vines has a nice synergy. A sheltered pocket of the quartz-rich site, Block 5 is about half a hectare of precious grape land. The wine sees around 35% new oak, but that buoyant, vibrant fruit sees it as a gentle seasoning.
