Bellwether The Ant Series Rosato 2017

Nero d’avola, barbera and pinot grigio (on skins). The original rose (2016) was produced from red grapes, but a bin of grigio was left alone and to the side during harvest, neglected even… then Sue Bell tasted it, it looked good, and it looked like rose, so winemaker Sue Bell used it to top up the rose, and this wine was born. The process was repeated with intent in 2017.
